By accessing or using the Millefeuille mobile application and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Millefeuille.app inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
Millefeuille provides a mobile application that allows users to digitize, organize, and search their physical cookbook collections. Our Services use artificial intelligence to extract recipe information from photographs of cookbook indices and pages, creating a searchable digital library.
To use our Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain all rights to the content you upload to our Services (your cookbook data, photos, notes). By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our Services to you.
The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content (excluding your content), are owned by Millefeuille.app inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Our Services are designed for personal use to help you organize and access your own cookbook collection. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to photograph and digitize the cookbooks you upload. You should only upload content that you own or have permission to use. We respect copyright law and expect our users to do the same.
We offer various subscription plans with different features and pricing. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as applicable).
We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILLEFEUILLE.APP INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Millefeuille.app inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if:
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Sherbrooke, Québec.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Millefeuille.app inc. regarding the Services.
